My mother was our first customer. She was blind, and worked in an organization for the visually impaired. Many nights she would be up, typing the same document over and over on her noisy Perkins typewriter.

The first Index Braille embosser gave her rest. It made it possible to  emboss a document in as many copies as she wanted.

Since then Index Braille has continued to make life easier for the visually impaired. In 25 years our embossers have enlarged the possibilities for communicating in braille. We have improved braille technology and dot quality by large. Our focus on braille has made us market leading in our segment.

Today our production is modern, efficient and green. We face the possibilities of a young, demanding market with software and hardware development. We have recently renovated our premises, launched a new website and the totally new WinBraille 5. I am proud of our development and stability.
