World Blind Union

The World Blind Union (WBU) is the only organisation entitled to speak on behalf of blind and partially sighted persons of the world, representing 162 million blind and visually impaired persons from about 600 different organisations in 158 countries.

World Federation of the Deafblind

The WFDB, Wold Federation of the Deafblind, was situated in 2001. It represents more than 60 National deafblind organisations.

European Blind Union

The European Blind Union is a non-governmental, non profit-making European organization founded in 1984. One of the six regional bodies of the World Blind Union, it is the only organization representing the interests of blind and partially-sighted people in Europe.
