All Index Braille V3 embossers has full local area network support.

This section describes how you give your Index V3 embosser a permanent IP-address. Index recommends the use of static IP address because it is the best way to connect a braille embosser.

To be able to install your embosser to a network, you must create a network port. This step describes how to create a network printer port in Windows and connect it to the IP address of your Index V3 embosser.

Printer drivers are necessary for embossing. This step installs the Index Printer Driver and connects it to your Standard TCP/IP.
