Templates are your translation filter

When you design your personal template, make sure to specify its general size, shape and translation. Doing this first will ensure consistency throughout all your documents. Before you start working on a new type of document, open a template and take care of these tasks.

Embossing in WinBraille

Open your document in WinBraille, translate it to braille following your template filter and emboss to any Index V3 embosser.

Working with more than one embosser

In many situations it is convenient to have several embossers connected to the same network. With WinBraille 5 and Index printer drivers it is an easy task.

• Set up the V3 embosser on a permanent IP address at your network
• Make the alternative templates, for example Everest with A4 paper and Basic-D with 12" tractor feed paper.
• Open a document with selected template, translate and emboss. WinBraille 5 and the corresponding template automatically performs correct translation and formatting.
