Service training schedule

Service training is held at Index Braille twice a year, with focus on V3 Embossers installation and maintenance. It is intended for distributors and end users.

  • Maximum number of participators is eight.
  • Service training fee is 1000 EUR, including documentation and hotel.
  • The training is managed by Mr Krister Essberg, Service Manager at Index Braille.

The programme of these 3-days training session is as follows:

Day 1

Basic training in handling and setting up the embossers. An overviev in support softwares. Including:

  • Product presentation
  • Company presentation
  • Service document system, web and Index CD
  • Embosser setup and basic handling
  • Embosser installation, configuration
  • Network installation
  • Replacement workshop, embossing head, main board
  • Upgrading firmware
  • Upgrade local speech

Day 2

Workshop:

  • Replacement of embossing head
  • Replacement of main board
  • Adapting main board to different embosser models
  • Embosser setup using Embosser Utility
  • Printer driver installation
  • WinBraille installation
  • Upgrading sheet feeder
  • Vertical alignment adjustment

Day 3

  • Embosser WEB interface
  • Telnet Embosser monitoring
  • Embosser V2, firmware upgrades
  • Embosser V2, replace embossing head
  • Service training feedback
