Test in extreme temperature to ensure perfect braille

One of the sucessful tests was conducted in 40 °C where Basic-D printed 10,000 braille pages. When the temperature increased to over 50 °C, the braille quality was affected.

As a result, Index has started an improvement program to deal with over the limit temperature in future.

Mr Löfstedt said: ”Index exports many braille embossers to hot countries where many units are used for continuous braille production. Our test is to ensure perfect braille even in extreme conditions".
