World Braille Day

Celebrated on 4 January, the World Braille Day reminds us of the huge impact of Louis Braille's invention on the lives of blind people all over the world.

The World Blind Union advises that all blind and partially-sighted people get the opportunity to become proficient in braille reading and writing skills.
