Visit Index Braille at SightCity in booth D1, Frankfurt, Germany on 25-27 April 2017. SightCity is the world's biggest exhibition on blindness and low vision.

See the presentation of our latest technology, FanFold-D V5, a high-speed traditional tractor-fed production embosser. Additionally, Basic-D V5, Everest-D V5, and BrailleBox V5 as well as Acoustic Hoods and Index Braille Stapler will be available.

We are now used with easy to use web application for banking, parking, puchasing etc. Index BrailleApp is a free application used in all Index V5 printers. It can handle amost everyting needed when printing braille, for example: 
  • Translation, formatting and printing of standard documents (doc, docx, pdf, txt)
  • Preview of the translated document
  • Editing of the translated document
  • Browse to get file from the PC
  • Browse on the USB memory stick attatched to the V5 printer
  • Select number of copies and range
  • View the embosser layouts
  • Select active layout etc.
  • Manage WiFi connection
  • Manage the Bluetooth connection

The paper out handling on FanFold-D has been improved. By adding chains in the braille out area the ready braille will be collected in a nice stack of braille paper.

Each year Index Braille will donate one set of Index Everest-D V5 and Acoustic Hood Everest free of charge. This way, we want to show that Index stands for something we truly believe in: to improve braille literacy for the blind.
