Index V5 embosser
Setup the layout, page size, braille layout, page numbering and braille translation language/grade (idB)
A USB memory device with files in docx, doc, pdf or txt format connected to the embossers USB host port interface.
Steps for USB printing
Press the MENU key on the embosser.
Go to Print/ Print from USB memory.
Find the file by using the arrow keys. The synthetic speech will guide you in the USB file structure.
Press OK to print the selected file.
On the control panel of the embosser the idB icon will flash during the translation and formatting process, normally a few seconds.
During the Braille printing process the idB icon is lighted.
