Universal Children's Day-X

Celebrated on 20 November, Universal Children’s Day promotes the well-being and human rights of each child.

On this occasion, the World Blind Union (WBU) emphasizes the importance of the inclusive quality education for children, including the blind or partially sighted children.

There are some challenges for a quality education for the blind and partially sighted children. The challenges include the lack of access to trained teachers who can educate their students braille literacy, and lack of accessible resources.

The International Council for the Education of People with Visual Impairment (ICEVI) called for the international community to fight for the rights of blind and partially sighted children so that they can achieve their full potential.
