With more than 40 years of experience, the Swedish company Index Braille is the main global manufacturer of braille printers. The company has a modern production capacity, fast delivery speed, and continuously updated products.

Challenging development

Index Braille was founded by Mr Bjorn Lofstedt in the early 1980’s. Today Index Braille has 10 employees, and exports braille embossers to more than 60 countries every year, targeting schools, organizations, governments and individuals. The company has a high yearly growth rate, with a market share of more than one third of the braille embosser market.

Northern headquarter

Within the facilities in Lulea of northern Sweden, Index Braille team develops and produces braille embossers. The main support, and administration as well as the management team are also based in Lulea.

Highest credit rating

Index Braille has stable prices in the leading currencies. The company has received a triple-A rating every year through the last decade. Triple-A is the highest credit rating in the Soliditet evaluation system, which is based on approximately 2,400 decision parameters.
